the bartender polly was a dolly! sincerely enjoyed every moment of my time at the bar. i tried the “dearly beloved” drink which was wonderfully balanced and tasty — not too sweet, a slight hint of heat. i will be dreaming about the slice of bread that comes with the pickled veggies plate for the rest of my days. don’t sleep on this place if you’re a local!

Ryan orchestrated the perfect dining experience at the Elysian Bar which is part of the Hotel Peter & Paul in the Marigny neighborhood of New Orleans. Their namesake breakfast was delicious with piping hot potatoes, crispy on the outside and perfectly seasoned. Beautiful presentation of meal and coffee. I’ve added a few pictures to show the elegance of what was once a catholic rectory. I highly recommend a meal here. Ask for Ryan he’s a superstar!

Brunch at The Elysian Bar is Southern charm with a European accent. The vanilla latte is elegantly smooth, like it journals in cursive. The Elysian Breakfast feels like comfort, but curated. The salmon crudo is delicate, confident, and cooler than you. And the biscuits? Buttery poetry in pastry form. A refined indulgence—best enjoyed slowly, and in natural light.

This was such an incredible dinner and so reasonably priced. The food was scrumptious and the service was amazing from Jeff! He told us the history of the building and gave us a tour after the dinner! My favorite item was the chicken under the brick.

Charming and chic restaurant/ bar. Cocktails were lovely. One of the cocktails we ordered was topped with flowers and so pretty. All the food we ordered was great. We went as a group and got a lot of things to share and I’m glad we did. The crudo and Calabrian crab pasta were my personal favorites.
